Hollywood Park
Hollywood Park is a small town tucked away inside Loop 1604 between North 281 and Voight Dr. just north of Hill Country Village. Centrally located with easy access to San Antonio Airport, San Antonio Riverwalk, and shopping centers. Hollywood Park was officially incorporated in 1955 by a paper vote in a homeowner’s garage. With the fear of giving up autonomy to San Antonio, the homeowners gathered on a Saturday evening in October 1955 to vote. The town was officially incorporated in December 1955. The homes in Hollywood Park were well built for the homeowners who planned to live in them for generations. To this day, many of the residents are the families of the original owners. Today the town has a population of about 3200 people.
This beautiful town is made up primarily of private large lots, an abundance of mature trees and plenty of white-tail deer that adorn the beautiful green lawns. There are about 1400 properties in Hollywood Park with a median sales price of $271,383. Hollywood Park is zoned for the highly-rated North East Independent School District including Hidden Forest Elementary, Bradley Middle School and Churchhill Highschool.
